Turning Pages, Solving Problems, Chasing Goals.

Hi, I’m Max! I started this website when I was nine because I love reading, solving puzzles, playing sports, and exploring new ideas. One day I hope to be a scientist, and writing helps me practice explaining and sharing what I discover.

This website is my journal, workshop, and playground all in one. I hope you enjoy following along as I learn and share.

Saving Our Oceans: The Impact of Fishing on Marine Life

I’ve been learning about saving the Earth at school, and it has been really interesting topic. I love nature facts and looking at unique and rare animals. I was reading some articles until I saw a headline called “3,000 Species Are Killed for Supper. Why Do We Allow It?” That instantly fought my attention . Since seafood is very popular, fishing businesses need more fish to give everyone amount they want.

As I continued reading, I found out large fishing nets are causing major problems because they completely destroy habitats. This surprised me because it shows people are treating our planet like a business instead of helping and protecting it.

In the end, loving seafood doesn’t make you a nature lover, saving our oceans and helping in many ways make you a true nature hero.
