Turning Pages, Solving Problems, Chasing Goals.

Hi, I’m Max! I started this website when I was nine because I love reading, solving puzzles, playing sports, and exploring new ideas. One day I hope to be a scientist, and writing helps me practice explaining and sharing what I discover.

This website is my journal, workshop, and playground all in one. I hope you enjoy following along as I learn and share.

  • 🏒 A Crazy Comeback Game vs. the Ducks

    By

Today we played the Avenue Road Ducks again. We beat them 6–2 and 6–0 before, but this time they scored 4 goals in the first period. We came back to 4–4 in the third, then they scored again. In the last minute, our coaches pulled the goalie and used 2 defense + 4 offense, and we tied the game.…

Last weekend, my U10 Single A team went to Buffalo for a big hockey tournament — and we won the championship! We played against other strong Single A teams, and every game was super exciting. Between games, we watched an NHL match: the Buffalo Sabres vs. the Chicago Blackhawks. The arena was huge, and the energy…

This weekend our team became tournament champions, and it felt amazing to skate off the ice holding the trophy. We had to play hard in every game, but the most exciting one was the semi-final against Humber Valley Sharks. Two weeks ago, they had beaten us in an exhibition game, so we knew it would be tough.…

  • Hockey Pre Season Starts: My First Exhibition Game

    By

This weekend was my first exhibition game of the new season, and I felt both nervous and excited because I didn’t know how our new team would play together. I played left wing offense, which meant I had to push hard to create chances. We lost the game by 2 goals, and even though it…

  • My Room and the Pig

One quiet night, I was sitting in my room when I heard loud banging on my door. At first, I ignored it, but the knocking only grew louder until it sounded like someone was slamming the door. Slowly, I stood up, each step creaking on the floor. Just as I touched the knob, the banging…

One day, I was planning to go biking. As soon as I stepped outside, I saw water splashing everywhere. “It’s raining. I really wanted to go biking,” I said. “Now we have to stay inside,” I sighed. Before I knew it, the helmet in my hand was already soaking wet. “Let’s do something to keep…

  • The Day I Saw Magic

One day, I went for a walk in the forest. While I was looking around, I saw a strange creature I had never seen before. My curiosity grew, and I decided to follow it. Suddenly, I stumbled on a rock and fell. The creature heard the noise and dashed away. I didn’t want to give…

  • Something New Is Coming: My Summer Stories

    By

This summer has been full of moments worth remembering — and I’ve collected them into something special: my very first book. 🌞📖 Most of the stories were inspired by books I read, some came from prompts, and some just showed up in my brain while I was idling. They are full of adventure, imagination, robots,…
